Latest Updates from Our Project:

$2K Milestone Unlocked!
over 1 year ago – Fri, Sep 16, 2022 at 07:04:59 PM

Hey hey hey, Mr. Guy fan!

Great news!

YOUR Support Unlocked Our $2K Milestone!

Now, every backer at the $44 level and higher will get this FREE Chibi Guy sticker designed by none other than Michel Abstracto, illustrator of Arc 7: Voidspace!

We're so excited to slip these lovely, die-cut stickers into our backers' rewards packages when we ship later this year!

You can decorate your apocalypse armor with it, or whatever…

Now, let's put on our gear and get ready to smash that 75-backer milestone goal and unleash a new, gorgeous art print by Jayel Draco, starring Mr. Guy and Cthulhu!

In the meantime, it's time to let you in on our excitement about one of our existing rewards…

The Mr. Guy Theme Song!

When we set about raising funds for the first issue of Mr. Guy: Zombie Hunter back in 2020, we were so very excited to work with David Gueringer of Next Arc Studios to create a theme song for the series.

A classically and jazz-trained pianist and clarinetist with nearly two decades of performing experience, David also had just the right sense of off-kilter humor to bring a certain special something to the Mr. Guy Theme Song…and, heck, did he ever!

We fell absolutely in love with the original theme song, which you can listen to by clicking the video below!

What a bop, right? You can't tell us you didn't dance along, or that "Call Mr. Guyyyy" isn't stuck in your head now!

Two New Versions Incoming!

The Mr. Guy: Zombie Hunter, Acts 1 & 2 campaign includes two brand-new versions of this classic theme song:

  1. The Remastered Original Mr. Guy Theme Song
  2. The Trap Remix of the Mr. Guy Theme Song

We're so heckin' excited to share both versions with you!

For now, they're available to backers in the $44 tier and higher, and also as add-ons for all pledge levels!

Here's Another Project You'll Dig…

Company of the Eagle

The Continent of Ashoka is home to many peoples: the spiritual Tulkans, an indigenous culture who have dwelled since creation, and the fierce Völsun Clans, ax-wielding, blonde-haired warriors who sailed for these shores eons ago. Both lived in relative peace until the arrival of the Gallian Empire and other kingdoms from across the sea. Now the colonists look West. Beyond the Cinder Mountains, it is said, dwells the realm of the Horned Ones.

Only the Great Eagles, giant flying beings born of Light, can hold back the march of the Horned Ones, and their blight from consuming the world. There is only one problem: the Eagles haven’t been seen in hundreds of years... until now!

Milestone Reveal: Mr. Guy Sticker by Michel Abstracto!
over 1 year ago – Thu, Sep 15, 2022 at 04:04:58 PM

Hello again, Mr. Guy fan!

We're this close to the $2K mark, and we want to celebrate with something super fun when we get to that milestone!

With that in mind, we're introducing…

A brand-new sticker design from Michel Abstracto!

We love this chibi take on Mr. Guy and his pal Spooky, armed to the teeth with zombie-destruction gear but still looking cute as all get-out!

Here's the Plan…

When we hit $2K in funding, we'll add one of these die-cut stickers to every order of $44 or higher

That means that every backer at Pledge Tier 4 and higher automatically gets the sticker, totally free, with their rewards!

If you're below that level, you can up your pledge to get the sticker…and help us hit that $2K goal sooner!

Thanks so much for your support so far, folks! Let's hit this milestone!

About Michel Abstracto

It's all the work of Michel Abstracto, who illustrated "Arc 7: Voidspace," where Mr. Guy asks the Elder Gods for help fixing the zombie apocalypse!

Here are a few peeks at the gorgeous work Michel did for that arc…

Mr. Guy and Spooky enjoy long walks on the beach…
…facing down incomprehensible aspics…
…and chilling with the Great Old Ones.

Michel Abstracto (he/they), illustrator of Mr. Guy: Act 2, Arc 7, is a freelance illustrator & cartoonist of mid-Missouri. He's been featured in the local newspapers for his cartoons & has done commission work for publishers such as Oneshi Press & Dark Man Comics. Most recently he has been working as the artist/colorist for the comic series Tales of Intoxica that just funded its first issue on Kickstarter! His style combines influences from creators such as Skottie Young, Rob Guillory, & Ryan Stegman.

Till tomorrow…

Here's Another Campaign You'll Dig…

Beowulf

Hazel, a pre-teen girl living in suburbia, is having a typical, boring evening when she’s startled by the premonition of a dragon awakening from a centuries-long nap. As surprised as she is by the vision, she’s absolutely shocked when her cat, Mooney, opens his mouth and tells her that he too had the same premonition.

Mooney knows of only one man brave and mighty enough to go toe to toe with a dragon, the mighty warrior, Beowulf. Unfortunately, he's been reincarnated as this guy...

Victor's an unemployed millennial slacker who can't even get his life together much less slay a dragon…

Crossover Print with Ichabod Jones: Monster Hunter!
over 1 year ago – Tue, Sep 13, 2022 at 07:12:45 PM

Aw, heck, Mr. Guy reader!

We've got a whole new crossover art print for you to enjoy!

Our friend Russell Nohelty is Kickstarting the FINAL issue of his amazing series, Ichabod Jones: Monster Hunter right now.

We love this series, so naturally, we had to make a crossover art piece of Mr. Guy and Ichabod Jones fighting off the hordes of imaginary and not-so-imaginary foes that plague them both!

Behold…

A Crossover Print for Ichabod Jones: Monster Hunter!

All you have to do to preorder your Kickstarter-exclusive print is:

1) Pledge to the Ichabod Jones: Monster Hunter campaign

2) Come back to the Mr. Guy Kickstarter (and back if you haven't yet)

4) Leave a comment saying what you like about the Mr. Guy launch, using the hashtag #ICHABOD.

Ta-daa! That's it! We'll include this glorious print with your Mr. Guy rewards when we ship at the end of this year!

What's Ichabod Jones: Monster Hunter All About?

Ichabod Jones is about a mental patient that escapes from an asylum and becomes a monster hunter during the Apocalypse, but he doesn't know if he's killing monsters, humans, or it's all in his head the whole time.

Ichabod has been imprisoned in a mental asylum for crimes he definitely committed. When he was arrested, the police found him wrist-deep in the guts of his latest victim.

While he's never claimed he was innocent, he says he only committed atrocious acts because an authoritative, and unwelcome, voice in his head told him he was doing God's work.

He tried to say no to the voice, but it was very insistent and persuasive. It told Ichabod that the people he was killing were monsters and he was saving the world by murdering them.

He was wrong...or so he thought.

Meet the Mr. Guy: Zombie Hunter Minifig
over 1 year ago – Fri, Sep 09, 2022 at 03:31:23 PM

Hello again, Mr. Guy backer!

Today, we'd like to introduce you to someone. He's tiny, but he packs one heck of a punch, and he looks great doing it!

Meet the Mr. Guy: Zombie Hunter Minifig!

He's quite a looker, isn't he? Even with Spooky's rather unnerving presence in his arm, Mr. Guy cuts a dashing figure in this Lego-compatible iteration.

He's wearing his trademark tan suit, all buttoned up and snazzy—except of course for his be-Spooky-fied arm. His hair slicked back and gorgeous. And he's wearing his best rakish grin, for maximum charm points.

This dashing gentle-goblin is available at the "Spooky's Secret Stash" pledge level…

He's also available as an add-on!

We get these adorable minifigs custom designed and handmade by Saber-Scorpion, who has turned out excellent minifigs to us for our past three campaigns: Tracy Queen, Mr. Guy, and Cthulhu

Oneshi Press Minifigs: Tracy Queen, Mr. Guy, and Cthulhu

Meanwhile, Here's Another Rad Campaign!

Flesh Eating Cheerleaders from Outer Space

When a meteor crashes in the middle of campus, the students at Pullman University didn't realize that they were being invaded. These space creatures are able to inhabit and take over the human body. So, what happens when a group of cheerleaders are caught in the middle? They become these flesh-eating cannibals, of course.

Soon, the problem isn't going to be the creatures, it's going to be the monsters that these cheerleaders become.
